Real-Time Multi-Device Sync (Sub-2s)

Vehicles pass through every ~5 seconds, so the entire acquire-integrate-display cycle had to complete in under 2 seconds.

Solution

Adopted multi-threaded processing — OCR, weight data, and magnetic-sensor processing run in parallel. Magnetic-sensor triggers serve as unique keys to correlate all streams for fast integration.

Rebuilding Without Documentation

The legacy system shipped only as an installer binary — no source code, no specifications.

Solution

Decompiled the binary to reverse-engineer logic and rebuilt the system from scratch using the OCR vendor's SDK — including licensed device-control modules.
